FAQs
Can I use anything other than water or alcohol with my BrainBit device?
BrainBit doesn't recommend using anything other than water or alcohol.
- Water can be used to improve sensor connectivity and alcohol can be used to clean the sensors or your skin (like your forehead for the BrainBit Headband).

- If using the Brainbit Headband, remove the foam pads on the sensors
- Use a spray bottle or dropper to wet the hair and scalp where the sensor sits.
- Don’t use saline or other liquids.
- Don't put water directly on the sensor; it could malfunction if it gets too wet.
